This personal wording names a known misunderstanding. It asks Maa to bless understanding of the precise part that was missed.

Let the offering and the request meet

At Saraswati Maa's offering area, take darshan and offer the displayed books, white flowers, fruits, kheer and deepak together. The whole offering is addressed to Maa, whose grace the learner seeks.

You may return to the mantra, then remain with the meaning of your own request. It does not need extra difficult words to become respectful.
